We are the recruiter for a prestigious top 10 pharmaceutical company seeking a talented and motivated Software Architect to join their data science and software development team. Must speak Dutch

Position Summary
In this role, you will design and implement in-house software solutions, collaborating with stakeholders to refine requirements and specifications. You will utilise a microservices-based architecture and mentor software developers, providing guidance during architecture and code review sessions. Your hands-on approach means you won't hesitate to write code for complex components.

Key Responsibilities

  • Consult with stakeholders to document user requirements.
  • Translate requirements into microservice-based architectures.
  • Guide the development and deployment of high-quality software solutions.
  • Lead and mentor software developers while ensuring adherence to coding standards.
  • Identify and resolve technical challenges and maintain comprehensive documentation.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in designing and developing Python applications.
  • Strong understanding of software design patterns, RESTful APIs, and web services.
  • Proficient in various Python frameworks (FastAPI, Flask) and message bus technologies (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
  • Experience with relational and non-relational databases (Postgres, MongoDB, etc.) and DevOps tools (Jenkins, Docker).
  • Fluent in English and Dutch with strong communication skills.
  • Previous experience in the pharmaceutical or regulated industry is a plus.
