Duties & Responsibilities:
- Implement planning & scheduling processes for a project portfolio.
- Understand and follow the CPS Planning Procedure.
- Coordinate with PMs and project teams to establish specific project responsibilities.
- Develop and implement a detailed planning approach for projects.
- Lead the development of conceptual and detailed project schedules.
- Perform technical schedule analysis and regularly report against project progress.
- Review schedules from Contractors and ensure quality deliverables.
- Lead project site visits to review compliance and progress, proposing corrective actions.
- Work closely with the PM, QS, and broader project team to achieve project KPIs.
- Coordinate with the project QS to ensure cost/schedule integration.
- Assist in managing, controlling, and tracking the project cashflow.
- Proactively review NEC Contractor Programme submissions and manage CEMAR when necessary.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- Degree in an engineering-related subject.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in projects and/or construction management.
- Thorough knowledge of critical path method (CPM) scheduling.
- Proficient in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lead Plan-Do-Review (PDR) sessions.
- Proven team player with a high energy level.
- Strong drive, resilience, and passion for Project Control processes.
Desirable Skills & Experience:
- Knowledge of NEC contracts and other contract forms.
- Experience using CEMAR or alternative Contract Management software.
- Experience in contract tendering and administration.
- Understanding of cost control and estimating.
